Red Rangers from Hoover Hatchery

We purchased 25 Red Rangers from Hoover 8 wks ago, so far we have had 2 with slipped hocks(3-4wks old then) several with angel wing, and one with angel wing and leg issues. growth has not been as fast as the broilers, everyone touted these as not having much issues are these genetic problems, we initially started them on regular chick food and have recently switched to meat maker. Input, or should we try next years batch from elsewhere.
