My hen June has been sitting on 12 hatching eggs for 1 week now and i decided to candle them. They were all at great development untill i got to the last two eggs. One of them has two dark red lines on it
and this is the other one who seems to be infertile but i would like a second opinion
if it is infertile what should i do with it? Also the egg frazzle that i am worried may have a red ring what would i do with it if it does have a red ring will it still grow or has the embryo died and i just have to throw it out? Any help or suggestions is welcomed
I read that if the red ring goes around the egg like this (crude drawing below) then it's dead. Your's doesn't appear to be like that. But I am not an expert. However Brady might be infertile, but I would wait to see. Candle him again at day 10 and if he still looks the same, he's probably empty. As for the others, they look great!
