The picture I have here is the best I could get but it doesn't really do justice to just how red those spots are on his legs. He is otherwise healthy. I've read that this is just hormonal. Is that correct in his case? Blackie Chan is very active and an overachiever protecting his ladies, tidbitting, and being a weenie from day one. He is 6 months October.

Following! I was going to post this exact question. My rooster is almost 6 months and I noticed his legs were red yesterday. He won’t let me get near him to check it out and difficult to get any pics. Mine looks more rosy and blushed. I was wondering if it was hormonal? I’m interested to read the replies.

BTW: That’s a nice looking rooster. Love the pic with him peeping over the chair. lol
