The hen is crowing and sparring with the other roosters.. his comb is much bigger now too. Somehow my computer glitched up and entered the post, or it could be my lack of sleep and a Monday. I was planning to say that he was 12- 14 weeks in that photo, closer to 20 now and with a much larger comb and wattles.

They do have a greenish metallic cast, yes.

Rhode Island Red - I'll bet he's pretty! He looks to be hatchery quality.

I bought him from a local guy yes, who had bought out a hatchery, along with a couple EE pullets. Unfortunately I'm looking to get rid of him, too many roosters, and I'm not as attached to him as I am to others. Actually I'm trying to find homes for as many as I can as I'm looking at a cross country move, and wanted to be able to tell people what kind he was. Thank you everyone for all your help.
