red sex link

i have a book that says a red sex link can be made with a rir over white leghornhowever everywhere else i look it has no information on that cross does anyone have info on that

Trying to get a sex-link with a White Leghorn is going to bet hit-or-miss because,
most White Leghorns don't carry the sex-linked gene Silver (S).
If you are wanting to use a Leghorn to create a sex-linked offspring you will have to use a Leghorn that carries the Silver gene (Columbian Leghorn or Silver Leghorn)
