I have some red sex-link pullets 19 weeks old. These are an orangy/red color with quite a bit of white all around the neck and in the tail. Most I see pictures of are all red. Any ideas what breeds may have gone into this cross as I love them. They came from TSC and were just marked as red pullets. I'm sorry, but I don't have the equipment to post pictures.

Red sex link males are mostly white. Are you 100% sure they are all pullets? The other possible answer is since they were marked as red pullets, they are just a production mix. A production mix is bred for maximum egg production and usually has some Rhode Island Red in it's breeding history.

I have 6 red sexlinks, and they have no white on them at all...their tail feathers and around the vent are rather cream colored but not white. Their necks are a mix of brown, orange and red.

They are definitely all pullets. Perhaps I was misleading. They don't have that much white, just more than most pictures of RSL's. If you can picture the columbian pattern, these have white where the black would be and the rest of the feathers are a light red.
