We have 4 girls that are about 2 yrs old. They have been quite productive every since they started laying. Usually 3-4 every day. We move them to fresh greens as needed and maintain a constant supply of Dumore laying hen pellets supplemented with oyster shell and small amount of table scraps.
Lately they have been only giving us a couple eggs a day and frequently there is an egg that is very soft shelled and breaks easily or is broken in the laying box.
They seem to be happy and energetic.
Any thoughts on what could be the cause of whats happening. They do not lack shade or water.

How much should I add to their water? IE 500 mg vitamin d, no clue how potassium would be measured. Maybe tractor supply may have some info.
Thanks for the idea!!
