i read that RIRs are agressive, since red stars are a cross from them, are they agressive too?
would they get along with BRs also?
and since we're on the subject of who would get along with who i was thiinking of raising two runner ducks with the chickens, would this work out, or would they get bullied, thanks for your time.

Hello ! I have RIR's and they are calm they do not seem to be tempermentive at all . I also have 24 runner ducks in with my chickens and I have 16 chickens. Good luck!

I have 8 Red Stars (Red Sex Links). They are very sweet chickens. I've never seen them fight or pic at any of my other chickens. If you are looking for great egg layers... Red Stars are great!

I have a few red-sex links and some RIR and they are the sweetest chickens. Now, the Welsummers I have seem to be a little on the dominant side and I though they were supposed to be docile. I think it all depends on the individual bird.

Just my two cents.

I agree totally. I had two BSL roos and the less dominant one was more aggressive than I expected. The dominate one was still a little aggressive but never tried me. I have only own 1 RIR when I was younger and it chased my little sis and me around and one day jumped on my little sis and became dog food, so I personally won't own a pure RIR rooster ever. But Stars/Sexlinks are pretty sweet and tend to stay at the top of the pecking order all at the same time. As long as the ducks are introduced right they would do great. I had 3 Peking duck and one got picked on when it was little so when it got bigger it fought a lot with the chickens. The other two seldom through here weight around like that. Chicken always won but duck never got anything hurt but pride.
