Darn hawks!! One polished off half my flock my first time around. I noticed everyday there was one or 2 less, but saw hide nor feather of them. Then I caught the bugger with one, I took the carcass to my compost pile so he couldn't finish it. I swear that hawk sat on my fence post for 3 days glaring at my window [I put bird netting over my chicken yard the day after I foud it eating my chicky] and if it could have talked, it would have called me every name in the book!!!
