Hey Howdy fellow Mini-Dinosaur raisers!

We are not first-timers but it's been a long timers
We just moved in a new flock of ten hens and one handsome roo (not a very rooish roo but they are still little guys so he has time) We also have one house quail named Rooster Cogburn and three outside quail (The Three Stooges). We have a dove and a pigeon that are a mated pair (don't tell them it is weird) but they also think they are chickens so.....
We have two dogs and two cats as well as a handful of kids and one grandson
We call our property where we live The Compound and the property where I grew up The Farm (they are about 5 miles apart).
My husband is a certified City Boy (I should say "was" because I have broken him over the years) and I grew up in boots and a cowboy hat. My kids are terrorizing in-betweeners....so smart and cultured but can climb a tree, start a good fire and befriend any animal.
I am also a bug nut. I study spiders specifically and can answer lots of "bug" questions for you.
