Registering Pygmy Goats

I want to register my goats. I have pygmys and Boer.I do not have any information on the parents of the pygmys can I still register them? If so how do I go about it?

The short answer is no. There are some exceptions, but in order to register most livestock you have to have papers on the parents. Contact the breed organization. They will send you information on the requirements for registration. if you are interested in purebred animals they can also send you a list of breeders who can help you.
