Hi! I’m in the CA Bay Area and purchased 4 pullets today from Tractor Supply (2 golden sex link, 2 Barred Rock) and I have realized I’m in over my head. I am looking to rehome them. They are happy and healthy and ready for someone who can care for them.
Thanks!

You’re trying to rehome them the same day you bought them? Why?
Do you have them set up with a heat lamp, food, water, anything?
Chicks are incredibly fragile. If you can’t keep the/care for them, return them to the store, where they will be cared for.

Hi there.
They are set up comfortably with all the things listed above. I would never bring them home without all of those.
I posted after this post about concerns with the avian flu. I hope that gives you more context.

To the avian flu thing - that’s very unlikely. The chicks look healthy. Since it’s mainly in wild birds at the moment, it’s hard for them to have had any way to contract it.
