Rehoming silkie rooster :(

I think I found a home for Fluffy!! Fingers crossed! I emailed a woman who received 4 of his babies from me a few months ago. Her only black rooster passed away, leaving a black hen alone. She was very excited! She is scheduled to take him in the morning! I really hope this works out!!

We ended up with 2 roos instead of hens from our last batch of chicks. We live in the country, so no big deal, but now that they are older, they are not getting along well. We went to our feed store and they gave us the name of a woman who gives unwanted roos a forever home. We're in WA, but I bet there is someone in GA who does the same? Check with your ocal store or a place that sells chicks in the spring. Good luck!

Where are you at? I'm needing a Silkie roo-- he doesn't have to be a great one, just breed Silkie hens, to make Silkie babies.. which will keep my broody bird population growing...

I am in south Ga. Fluffy went to his new home a few days ago. He will continue to be an awesome little roo. He is white, but now has plenty of black ladies to love on!

If anyone wants him, they are welcome to him! Also I have three white silkie chicks I would include if they were given a GOOD home with Fluffy.

He is a sweet boy.. to me.. but he attacks my husband at times so I don't know if a petting zoo would be a good idea. He may go ninja on someone! Great idea, though!

I'v called a couple chicken places around here but no one will take him due to the fear of contamination. Booooo!!

I would post a picture but I can't remember how to : / If anyone is interested I can send pictures for sure!

Thanks, everyone, for your support.
Love your story lol going ninja i just bought some babies i hope i dont run into that problem good luck
