I have one little hen who is picking on my americaunas. She's been segregated three weeks. I'm going to try to reintroduce her using the play pen method - since I haven't tried that yet, but we'll see. What I can't decide is if I should take this as an opportunity to split the flocks. I have this one, who was supposed to be an americauna, but clearly isn't, a RR and a few americaunas. The RR gets along fine with the little hen and the americaunas get along fine with each other. I'm considering adding a few more americaunas, but it would just be easier to reintegrate the "bully".
It seems as though reintegration is very easy from reading other sights on line and when I've had to do it in the past, I've had no trouble, but when I tried today there was a bit of fighting. That hasn't happened to me before. Is it normal?
