Reintroducing hens and chicks with the flock

For back story, I had 3 hens go broody and hatch chicks at the same time. I left 1 hen and her chicks in with the flock and put the 2 others in separate areas with their chicks. I was advised to reintroduce them when the chicks are 2 weeks old but I'm not sure if I should just put them in and monitor or place them in a sort of containment in the run and open it after a few days? They all have been in sight of each other since separating them so they know these hens are still here, and I plan to only move in 1 hen with her chicks at a time.

I would just pick one and release her and see how it goes. Sometimes there's no problem and sometimes hens want to fight with the mom, and peck the chicks. It seems to depend on the broody and her position in the hierarchy. I would wait until the first one is doing okay before releasing the second one just so things don't get too chaotic. That's how I do it here.
