Rejected Egg Hatched! Reintroducing chick to broody?

How do you reintroduce a chick to the broody who kicked out/attacked the egg as it hatched?

The hen might've kicked it out as an accident. She should accept the chick like any of the other chicks.

She's a 1st time broody hen....I tried to put it back when it was pushed out & took it away when she started attacking it. This one is 1 day early, day 20, others haven't pipped yet but can feel movement in shell.

Well that’s not a good sign..do you have a brooder or another broody, if not you might need to ask if someone can sell you one or brood them outside when it’s close to 100 F and bring them in at night with a heat lamp

Are you interfering in the bonding process and touching the eggs too much. Stress can cause her to act that way...

Wait till the other eggs hatch. Only prob I've had introducing chicks to a broody with chicks same age is the chicks that hatched in the incubator don't want anything to do with the mamma at first, mamma more than willing to take them, tries like heck to get them to mind. Took a couple days before they got with the program and had to keep them all in a brooder they couldn't escape from.

UPDATE!
She took back the 1st chick this evening! All 3 others hatched overnight under her & are looking great so far today.
