Relocating turkey eggs

Hello! So I need HELP. I have a couple Qs...
Our female turkey has been laying on her egg for a couple weeks now. I relocated her from the main closed in coop and closed off a portion of the area they're in so she can finish laying and safely hatching her egg. Now, she seems to be panicking and not laying on her egg I put in there. Its been over 2 hrs and she hasn't laid on it. I had to move it from the "nesting" area to right in front of her to see it. Will all come together or should I do something different??

Birds imprint on the location of their nest, not on the eggs. If you want to move her to a new location it's best to do it just after dark so that she wakes up in her new spot thinking that's where she's always been. If possible, block her view of her old nest location or she will just try to get back to it.
