I took my daughter to see all the birds. Oh man!!! If my husband will let me I can see me spending a lot of money in the future to this man.
He had a beautiful white peacock!! Geese, and a turkey that I had only seen in books. He told me the turkey wasn't very pretty right now because it was starting to molt. Oh my goodness I would love to see it when it was pretty!!!!
He had baby cuckoo marans for $1 each! I had to buy 2!!!! With the babies I have what is 2 more!!!!! I probably would not have bought any if I had not seen the rooster!!! Huge!!! I might have to go back for more to better my chances of a rooster. Do you know what cuckoo maran eggs go for on Ebay?
He had just sold about 200 of his laying hens!! He said before he did he got a 5 gallon bucket full of eggs a day!!!
Oh and he has pigmy goats too.
He has been raising chickens for 35 years.
Can't wait until I take DH.
