Remote Controlled Car for auto door opener/closer?

has anyone thought of just disassembling a remote controlled toy car for like 15-20$ and using the wheel and axle and the remote and fixing it to a duck oen or chicken coop door? then using the remote control to drive the axle/wheel mechanism forward, letting the door down and then backwards letting the door up? does anyone think this might work?

this may work if car motor is big enough. the lighter the door the better. would love to see someone do this.
