Remote controlled coop door?

This might be a silly question but has anyone attached a remote control to the automatic chicken door? I would Like to be able to open from the house during the winter months....all I have come up with is using a garage door motor and track.

There are commercially available motors and timers for this purpose as well as many plans for some you build yourself from car radio antenna motors. You might search for automatic pop door openers.

I have the build it yourself from a car radio antenna motor on my list of improvements to make to the coops.

The D20 add a motor on Amazon and they sell timers with remote controls built in, I have mine just plugged into a timer and it works great.

Thank you! I have done so much searching and will probably go with the D20 I had no idea that timers came with remotes!!
