Remove turner? Or no.

Hello guys! It's day 16 of incubation, and I just have a really quick question. Can I Remove the egg turner tomorrow? I have seen the eggs moving a little if I looked hard enough. Thank you for any help.

I'm no pro, but I think you'd be jumping the gun a bit. Typically you want to wait until day 18.

Day 17 has been the earliest I've put them in lockdown for chicken eggs. Has your incubator been running hot? If you want to put them in lockdown now it's fine, whatever you want to do. Just make a note to yourself later if it was a good idea or not after hatch.

I've done lockdown on day 16 withought problems. Day 16 is when chicks start turning towards the fat end of the egg, then they'll rest for a few days before piercing the air cell.

The first 3 days the temperature was up at 103.0F but that was before I got a thermometer. After those 3 days it has been around 100.2F Thank you!
