Good morning all I am not sure where to post this question but hope you can help
I have been babysitting two hens while their owner was building their new coop and since then I have gotten far with habituating my girls. Now I have to remove these two hens to give them back to their mother, what is the best way to catch them and remove them without scaring my girls? I don't want them to start freaking out again every time I get close to them. Will it be better to take them out while they are sleeping and have them sleep in a box until the next morning when they go home?
