Are you an NPIP premise? Just wondering as it sounds like you think because he came from Meyer's hatchery the bird is still NPIP. It is not once it hits your place the "certification" is gone if you are not NPIP...

Good luck on getting rid of him. I have a bunch of roosters that are going to make skinny sunday dinners soon..BTW I am jealous of where you live!

Thanks! Persistence paid off and I finally found him a new home out in the country with 9 hens and acreage to free range!!
