Repaired egg seeping

Usually we buy chicks. This year (because my little guy is doing kindergarten by home school), we built an incubator and got a dozen hatching RIR as a "science project".
Incubator and hatching eggs are at my mother's house. On day 7 after candling, my mother noticed a small dent in one of the eggs. She put a piece of scotch tape over it. Fast forward to now. Eggs go into lock down tomorrow morning, but yesterday we noticed seeping under the tape. Egg looks beautiful other than that. Perfect day 17 growth, beautiful air cell.
Do you think this chick has a chance of survival?
No

They look great - you have a nice little flock there! And one overcame a pretty big obstacle to join the world. Go Denty!! :jumpy

Edited to add: maybe we should start a "Team Denty" for people trying to hatch cracked/dented/otherwise damaged eggs :D:highfive:
