Reptipro 6000 with egg turners

What are your experiences with this unit good and bad and any mods you have done to it?
My husband told me he will get me one for mothers day! YA

Here's the catch, he thinks he is going to use it as a mini fridge in our room when I am not hatching

That just means I will have to keep it full year round

I'm so with you on this! I'm asking for the ReptiPro 6000 for Mother's Day too! I've read mixed reviews on the 5000, but I'm very interested in this newer version. I'd like to see the egg turners in action though, and see where they would plug in at? Here's a youtube video on the unit, just in case you haven't seen it already.

Thanks for the links! I have already read part of the hatch a long page and I did see the Youtube video but my sound went out on my dino laptop so video is pointless if you cant hear it! LOL I was just wondering if anyone here has used it with the turners to get real reviews on it overall?

Well, yesterday I read the entire hatch-a-long link for the 5000.

I would highly suggest to skip forward to the mid 20's. Towards the end, people had bought the 6000 and there's still mixed reviews on it. The question was asked but never answered about the shelves. From what I gathered, ReptiPro didn't fix the problem with the gap. I'll be watching this thread, and I sure hope more people chime in about their experiences with this new unit.

I read the entire 5000 tread a few months ago....made me want one of these units......I got confirmation mine is on the way today .But I'm going on vacation at the end of july so I'll have to wait to put eggs in,so they will hatch in Aug.I researched this unit alot...Found an Alternative cheaper unit.But I was impressed reptipro's exchange here on BYC and the fact they support 4-H/FFA.As a previous memeber who showed juniors poultry .I found it important to support people who ,support our kids .Thank You to reptipro
