We have a chick from the animal shelter I work at. Can someone hazard a guess as to the gender (important) and the breed? Many thanks!

Would vote cockerel with that much pink comb/wattle, maybe a mix breed.

Mixed breed cockerel. My guess is his gender is why he's at the shelter.
