I found this little guy on the street. I am pretty sure he’s my neighbor but unfortunately they are out of town and won’t be able to return it until they come back. I am really curious as to what it is? A chicken? Turkey? I am not sure haha. Please help!

To me it doesn't look like a chicken chick but then again, I could be wrong. I would be concerned as to why it was on the street in the first place. Are their birds free ranging? Seems very odd to me.

No comb of any kind-not a chicken. Quail-can you post a side shot showing all the bird's body.

I am not too sure either .. luckily I still have all my duck brooder stuff so I am keeping him safe. They have a lot of animals and very poor fencing. One of their goats and rooster escape before.

Not a quail. Some type of pheasant chick? It does not look healthy. Is it eating and drinking?

When I look at the head there doesn't seem to be a comb, but then, the head is so beat up it is hard to be certain. The beak and body look chicken; a chick around a month old.
