I live in Huntsville Alabama. This week in front of my office near downtown, a female Mallard walks across a city drain with 9 babies that are a day old in tow and they fall down in the drain. The hen stresses so bad between the babies and all the traffic she takes off and doesn't return. So I rescued them at 9:00 that night out of the drain. I have raised many ducks growing up so I have them secure with food and water but I live in a subdivision and no means to keep them. Does anyone know of anyone who lives in Northern Alabama or Southern TN that can take these little guys? I will deliver. I have called all of the wildlife federations and no one is fostering right now. Please help!!!!
