Someone dumped them on the road. They were just sitting in the road last night so we went out and caught them. It happens a lot where we live in the country. I just hate when people do this. Anyhow we have a white leghorn hen and these look like Roos(yellow legs) to me but am not sure they are the same breed. They are young.

I am no expert but they look like leghorn roos to me too. I guess someone just had one to many roos. They look in good shape though. Are you planning on keeping them?

That is pretty lucky though! I love finding stuff that wasn't expected b/c it makes you wonder if you were suppose to find it! Plus free birds, the one on the right has a smaller comb, you think it is a roo? Do they both crow?
Oh and the one on the right has smaller tail feathers?

Neither one crow. But they are together with the hens and seem to be fine. Another sign they are roos? Seems like the hens would be beating them up by now...
We will keep them for now. They are really gentle and sweet. I won't keep if they start spurring me etc. One does have a smaller comb but not sure that means anything.
