This might sound like a stupid question to ask, but i notice a lot of information online are very bad for chicks and animals in general, like many people were saying to wash your chick you dunk them in warm water! Or you mix in baby chicks with adults instantly. Obviously this i know isnt good for the baby chick at all. But does anyone have recommended sites to look around on? i dont want to get bad information from people saying that type of thing.
im just curious in case id like to research some breeding genetics for projects and such. Thanks!

Not sure where on line you are referring to??? Here on BYC, if you read the entire thread,, if it is in reason,,,, about a question, you will get a variety of responses.
Generally If the response if from an active member that has been around some time,,, you should get good advice.
You can get silly response from newbies that ether are not knowledgeable,,, or are semi-nuisance pranksters. That is why I suggest reading as many posts related,,, and then determine which are true, and correct.
Generally,,, if the response is from a member that was awarded MEDALS,
the information is reliable.
Read the description, and how BYC determines which to award. You do not earn medals because you have been a member for a specific period of time.
