Respiratory infection?

I have a year old silkie hen

- symptoms
Runny nose, occasional sneeze and a clicking noise when I listen to her chest

- any new chickens?
No but we combined our two flocks mid winter

- what bedding do we use?
Wood shavings

- when’s the last time you cleaned it out?
A week ago

- any other chickens with the same symptoms ?
There’s one that always had a sneeze but she was our original hen of 2 years

- ventilated?
Yes

She also dazes off with her head to the side, I know some silkies have a vaulted skull maybe one of the standards pecked her on the head

A clicking noise usually indicates a bad heart valve. Runny nose and occasional sneeze could be an environmental issue.

U can add some vitamin powder with it’s water to give her an extra boost,please wear a KN95 while handling her,I would recommend isolating her in a basket or cage away from her flock if the infection or symptoms gets too bad.Please contact an aviary vet for further information.

We had her isolated, we don’t have a aviary vet she seems to be getting better. There isn’t much straining now she is pooping but still no egg. We put electro lights in her water and that perked her up a lot
