I had some respiratory trouble with some of my chickens a while back. One hen had facial swelling and other symptoms. She recovered but has been sounding bad with her breathing for a while, especially if I chase or hold her and she has to struggle or run. I tried tylosin but didn’t give it her many days in a row. I had also tried di-methox for a while but she won’t get better. I now have a younger pullet that I noticed today sounds crackly like her in her breathing. I don’t know what to do other than seperate them and try tylosin again. I’m afraid the older hen is going to have adverse affects from so much antibiotic. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks
