Respiratory??

I do think that the scabs appear to be dry fowl pox. That is a virus spread by mosquitoes. It lasts about 3 weeks. Does the eye have swelling, gunk, or eye bubbles? If so, there may be a secondary infection. I would rinse the eye with either saline or an eye wash such as Bausch and Lomb Eye Relief Eye wash twice a day. Apply either Terramycin eye ointment, plain Neosporin or Polysporin, or Vetericyn eye gel. Don’t disturb the scabs, since that can spread the virus to others. Let us know how she gets along. Here is some reading about pox:

She does have some bubbly stuff going on. That’s why I was wondering if there was a respiratory thing going on. We are definitely having a tough time with mosquitos this year! Even with deterrent plants, mosquito dunks, dumping any standing water any time it rains, etc. they’re still AWFUL. I grabbed some vetricyn spray earlier and applied it.

No egg withdrawal with oral Tylosin according to Farad the best resource for medication and chickens.
