(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No I'm not really new to chickens, but it has been awhile since our last flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
My Wife and I just brought home 6 new chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
2-Frizzy, 2-Light Brahma & 2-Blue Plymouth Rock
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
A} I love watching & interacting with the chickens. Huge stress reducer.
B) We started a food forest in our back yard and look forward to all the benefits of gardening with chickens.
C) Eggs are a Bonus!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, photography, painting & fishing.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm an art director for a local ad agency and freelance illustrator. I've been married for 30yrs to the prettiest event florist in Florida.
We share the house with our cat "Pudge" (indoor only, the out of doors is beneath him."
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I heard BYC through a friend several years back, but only after our original flock was gone. Now that we've jumped back in I thought it was a good time to join. We look forward to being part of the BYC Family.
