Hi from Michigan! I was a member last year when I first got chicks, than things got busy and I wasn't able to get on much. I had 8 hens (started out with 10..1 died, 1 went missing, 1 was a mean rooster that met an untimely death and then a friend gave me another hen!). I got 6 more chicks this spring, and one is a rooster, so far he has been very good.

I have one barred rock that's not doing so well. Missing a lot of feathers and is lethargic...thing might be mites? Dusted her and another hen, thats been missing feathers on her throat, with sevin. Hoping she gets better, she is so friendly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
 
Any chance she's at the lowest end of the pecking order or rooster is especially fervent in his attentions to her?
