Rheas vs. Emus- which one?

I live on about 1/3 of an acre. I want to get into emus or rheas. which one is smaller, and which one is easier to start with?

Rheas are the smaller of the two, but I wouldn't say 1/3 of an acre is enough land for them. A pair needs half an acre at least.
