Rhode Island Red, about 12 weeks. Gender?

My guess would be cockerel (99% certainty) based on the feathering coming in and it's colouration. At 12 weeks a pullet wouldn't be as red in the comb normally either.

I’m guessing boy chicken as well - those neck feathers as well as the tail feathers (not to mention comb and wattle development) are pointing towards cockerel.

I am definitely guessing rooster… I am not 100%, but would be very shocked if he was a hen!

Oh boy. Should be interesting. I live in the country so, it's not an emergency. But I have no idea what's going to happen to the dynamics of my little troop of six total chickens.
