We have 15 Rhode Island Red (not production reds) cockerels born 3/18/09 at Ideal Hatchery needing homes. They had their Merecks vaccination at the hatchery. They were males put in the shipping box to use as warmth.

I also have approximately 15 - 20 RIR (again, not production reds) pullets, born 3/9/09 from Ideal Hatchery for sale. They, too, are from Ideal Hatchery and had their Merecks vaccinations at the hatchery. Due to their age they should come into laying next month.

All pullets & cockerels have been well cared for. Due to feed costs at this time we have decided not to build a second coop so we are hoping to re-home the above chickens. We are in Frankfort, OH and are asking $6 each.

Sorry about that. I forgot the price in my original post. I'll edit for that.

Where is Frankfort? I live in SW Ohio between Dayton and Columbus.

I might be interested in a few of the pullets. Would you be intersted in any peafowl, by the way?

Frankfort is between Washington Court House and Chillicothe. We're really not that far from each other. Roughly an hour from southern Columbus and 45 minutes or so down 35 from Dayton.

I hadn't thought of peafowl before. I don't really know a lot about them and would need to do some research (and talk to hubby too).
