I have an Easter egger rooster and 9 hens and I had hatch some eggs 5-6 months ago and my neighbors gave me a hen a she has been my favorite little girl since and I was wondering if I should see if they would want him and I wanted to sell him to make a couple bucks and I have not had any one interested in him so should I wait longer to see if someone would take him or see if my neighbors would want him thanks all replies are welcome

Far more cockerels hatch each year than can ever find permanent homes. Most pure bred cockerels, including some nice ones, are culled each year let alone the mixes. Many people can't even give extra males away.

So if your neighbors want him, then give him away. Count yourself lucky that he found a home. All but 2 or 3 here end up in the freezer.

That's one thing I can't and won't do I just want to find him a good home not food in the freezer
