He is a rooster but not RIR because he has to much of the greenish/bluish feathers. He actually looks a lot like my mixed breed rooster Zorro:




So I'm not sure on the breed.

No, becasue he was supposed to be a Australorp when I bought him from a hatchery, sorry .

Yes, Zorro was HUGE my sister wanted to try and butcher him for meat but he was soooo sweet I wouldn't let her .

he is funny to watch when i bring out the feed bucket he reminds me of a hungry fat kid he almost dances his male chicks are straight black

This pairs chicks have started to hatch some solid yellow some are solid black
