I have a Bantam Rhode Island Red hen who has slowly turned white.

Her parents are completely "pure" normal looking Bantam RIR’s.

First you only had a few specks of white here and there, and after her first molt they disappeared.

As the weather here in AUS has cooled she’s begun to molt and she’s slowly turned almost completely white now only have a few specks of brown.

What would case this.

Genetics? Weather? Diet/health issues?

Thanks in Advance!

Here’s a pic of her halfway in between about two weeks ago. She’s more white now!

Oh wow. I believe @MysteryChicken has some chickens who have done the same thing andhas started a project with them. But I don't know if they've nailed down the reason yet.
