I have 5 RIR. One looks like her wings are not tight to her body. I don't know if this is normal. Mind you she is the only one in the flock that will fly and she gets up high. I've considered clipping her wings so she doesn't get out of the yard. See pictures below. Thank you for any advice.

Just clip the long primary (flight) feathers on one wing. Do a search here on clipping wings, there should be a diagram showing how to do it. I can't look for it right now, sorry.

I'm also guessing she's hot, since she also appears to be panting. Do you keep their water in the shade and check it throughout the day? If it gets hot, dump it and give them fresh, cool water. If their water is hot they won't drink it and can get dehydrated and a dry, thirsty chicken won't eat.

Edit: 🙄typos. The bane of my existence.

She looks hot. Does she stand like that all the time or just sometimes? What's the weather where you are?
I can't say she stands like that all the time. I'm in Central Florida. Yes, it's been hot. I have 3 waterers. They're not in direct sunlight.
