Rhode Island Reds questions - new breed to me.

Hi there,

I have information overload in my head when it comes to my new chickens. I bought these two as chicks and they are currently 4 months old this weekend. I seriously don't know if they are hens or roosters. The other two were crowing, so pretty sure they were roos lol. These two are questionable for me... When would they start laying eggs and I seriously can't tell by other pictures and feathers what they are.

I appreciate any input that can be given.

Both have male specific feathering and are cockerels. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

16 weeks? Yeah. I’m with Jed. Feathering, combs and wattles all point to cockerel.

Yeah, sorry. They both look like roosters.

That's what I was afraid of. Never had 4 cockerels out of 4 chicks. Thanks for your quick responses.
