We have four rhode island reds. They are very friendly! As far as egg production, i think they do a decent job. I'm not completely sure since their in with 18 other hens! When they molt, they tend to do it extremely! We have a hen right now that is almost half naked! Also they make great pets and tend to do well with other hens!

Our RIR’s have a much calmer demeanor than our leghorns or Bantams. Makes them easier to handle/check up on. Also they have delicious eggs!
