Thanks for the info. They came from a hatchery at a day old, so it wasn't me that caused that

I noticed the toe as well and read that it could be anything from improper diet, to much inbreeding, or hatching conditions.

Male specific hackle and saddle feathering indicate otherwise. The only possibility is #3, and that one, too, appears to be a cockerel.

She is very skittish, has much smaller legs, and is a much lighter brown color with not as many green feathers on her tail and back. Personality wise she is the only one who is skittish, and of of the two who just seem to sit around under the bush. Hoping she is still a she...
