Rhode island white rooster doesn't flap wings

so I have a rhode island white rooster who doesn't flap its wings and when he tries the wings don't flap out all the way and today I grabbed him and when I tried to put him down he didn't flap his wings at all he just fell down like a dead animal

that is strange I have never had any chicken do that I wish I had input to share

Its like he did what the goats do when they get scared,he freezed

My Cochin did that for a little while because the others were stopping her from getting enough food. Does he get kept away from the food or is he getting enough nutrition?

maybe he just gets scared easy at least he isn't a jerk and tries to attack you

my only assumption is that he injured it. or that he doesn't feel well therefore doesn't have the energy to flap about or be lively.

Has he been eating and drinking?
when he "falls over like a dead animal" is he sitting like down or is he actually like- losing his balance and falling over.
any crowing?
how old is he?
any labored breathing or gargling-like sounds in his breath?

He has been doing it for a long time and he is the alpha rooster of my flock so he basically eats first

He's normal he basically insisted of flaping his wings to get down he falls and gets up

I've had a bird do that.
by that I mean have wings yet never utilizes them.

on the other hand, I've also had really flappy and flighty ones.

It seems like a personality thing than anything else!
