Rhonda's first egg!!

After 31 weeks of having my 4 chickens and wondering if they were never going to lay eggs...this morning Rhonda laid the first egg out of the flock! I had suspicions yesterday when she would squat randomly. It is so beautiful and exciting! (I was almost late for work because I was doing the happy dance). These chickens have been a hoot. They have escaped multiple times from my yard. I have found them on my neighbors roof!! Anyway, I'm so happy that my chickens are finally starting to lay eggs!!

Congrats! That is so exciting and we still love every morning getting out two eggs (3 hens). It's been 11 weeks now for two and one of ours has only layed once.
