Ridiculous: Chicken snake ate one of my ceramic eggs

I started a flock this year, and dropped a couple ceramic eggs in the boxes a while back to encourage laying. I've been getting eggs for about 3 weeks now. Today I send my son out to pick up eggs and he runs in and tells me there's a snake in the coop and one of the fake eggs is missing. Yep, damn snake ate the ceramic egg, we couldn't find him. I imagine I'll find his carcass eventually.

I keep golf balls around the coop, run and laying boxes, not to encourage laying but for the snakes. Once they eat enough golf balls they tend to lose interest and don't come around much anymore.

I keep snakes, and in the event they're unable to digest their food they just throw up, but that's usually rodents. I'm not sure how well a ceramic egg would be able to pass through the esophagus, so I guess we'll just find out!

I had trouble with a snake stealing isilkie eggs but the snake disappeared I think one of the Hawks got him.

Update. Found the snake in the coop this morning, dispatched it and got my ceramic egg back. Went to put the egg back and realized the other fake egg is now missing. Not sure if the snake regurgitated it somewhere, then came back for the other egg, or if it was a second snake this morning.

Check in the bedding of the coop. I had a large problem, (and I mean like twelve plus), rat snakes living in the pine shaving I was using on the floor. I'd remove or kill one and then have more moving in. They just came out to eat eggs and strangle started birds too large to swallow and went back under the bedding. I drug all the shaving out and haven't had an issue with them since then (knock on wood).
