I've got a combination of eggs due to hatch, all due between 22 April - 2 May (all the Chukars at the beginning part and the ringneck pheasants in the latter part). I understand that keeping chicks together that are from a staggered hatch can cause cannibalism, pecking, etc. and was wondering what any of your opinions were. I would imagine having all the Chukars together, all of which will hatch between 22 Apr and 25 Apr, wouldn't be an issue, but didn't know if you thought this might be a problem adding the ringnecks in that would be about a week younger than the Chukars when they hatch. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
