Lucky was doing great but this morning he started breathing heavy. I put him in something by the heat so the others wouldnt pick on him.... but when we came home from church he had passed on. He was well loved while he was here and will be greatly missed. I am so glad we got some pictures of him while he was happy and healthy.
We love you Lucky

So sorry for your loss

He was a lovely little guy.

It's always so difficult to lose a precious, innocent creature. It never gets easier, & just a fact of life. I used to cry for days when I would lose a chick, now I just sniffle a bit less.
We plant sunflowers for each loss, and now I have a tiny little "hope" garden in the backyard.
The little chick was fortunate enough to have your love & care during its short lifetime. I'm sorry for your loss & hope you can enjoy your other healthy chicks today.
